A quick note to let western members know we have added a new lentil to the product mix! SeCan will have distribution rights for CDC Jimini CL® for all of Canada outside Saskatchewan. The variety will be supported by SPG within the province of Saskatchewan. The fee rate will be $75/MT for all seed sold for planting outside Saskatchewan. Manitoba or Alberta members can source stock seed directly from Saskatchewan SeCan members. All members who produce or sell seed of a CL variety must follow the requirements of current Stewardship Guidelines. Please review the attached guidelines and inform anyone purchasing pedigreed seed of Clearfield® lentils of the requirements and provide a copy of the Stewardship Guidelines.
