New Variety Offer for GP250 Special Purpose Wheat

Hello Western SeCan Members,

 SeCan is excited to offer GP250 Special Purpose Wheat from the University of Alberta for spring 2023. GP250 is a high yielding special purpose wheat with short strong straw and a large hard red type kernel. We envision GP250 fitting in both as a feed wheat and silage wheat. This release is unique in the west as it’s a Breeder seed only release. With the big yield potential of GP250 it should be easy to multiply quickly and go to market in fall 2024 / spring 2025. Variety offer here.
