New Variety Offer - Yellow Field Pea

Hi SeCan Members, 

I’m extremely excited to release CDC Canuck, a very high-yielding yellow field pea with high protein, medium maturity, good lodging tolerance and durable seed coat. CDC Canuck is available to all members across Canada.

NEW: Online Seed Application Process

• Sign into MySeCan 

• Go to: Apply for Varieties

• Click on the Seed Application button 

• In the left-hand boxes:

Crop Kind: Pea

Variety: CDC Canuck

Class: Breeder 

• In the center section fill in the quantity being applied for - the default is kg but it can be adjusted to MT as well. 140K seed units are only for soybeans, so don’t use that. 

• Click “Next Item”

• If you want to apply for both Breeder and Foundation, you need to add the next pedigree in the same way as above and remember to click “Next Item” or it won’t save what you just entered.

• At least one option needs to be selected in the Sales History section but you can do more if you wish.

• Finally, put your name in the box and hit Submit. 😊 

This is a breeder seed only release as we have a very good supply of breeder seed with 94% germination and 246.6g TKW. Seed is packaged in 25kg bags so, please order in increments of 25kg.

You should receive an email confirmation that the application has been submitted and I’ll try to let you know I got it too. Please remember to check your junk folder as the confirmation may go there.
