Hello SeCan members, We know many of you are right in the middle of harvest, so we’ll keep this short! Later today, we’ll be launching By Our Side: The 2027 SeCan Seed Dogs Calendar, a special 50th anniversary campaign in support of The Do More Agriculture Foundation. Dogs are a familiar part of farm life, sharing in the busy seasons, everyday routines, and everything in between. That makes them a natural fit for a campaign that celebrates agriculture while supporting mental health and well-being in our industry. We wanted SeCan members to hear about it first. We’re looking for the dogs that are always by your side through field checks, truck rides – and harvest too. Submit your favourite farm dog photos here for a chance to have your dog featured in our 2027 calendar. For every eligible entry, SeCan will donate $50 to The Do More Agriculture Foundation. Proceeds from calendar sales will also be donated, with SeCan matching that amount dollar-for-dollar. So, if your four-legged co-pilot is keeping you company this harvest, consider this your reminder to grab a photo when the combine is parked! Click here for full details. Wishing you a safe and successful harvest — we can’t wait to meet your seed dogs! The SeCan Team
